Mercedes 350 SL

Mercedes 350 SL is yet another great achievement of the Mercedes-Benz company. Its 3.7L, V6 engine is economical enough compared to its bigger sister, the 500 SL. The official name and model is Mercedes-Benz SL 350 with V6 engine, 3724cc displacement. It has an easy 6-speed manual transmission that almost everyone knows about. With 155 miles per hour as its top speed, this car is really fast but it all depends on how the driver brings this beauty to roar. Compare with other brands with its quality, it has a faster acceleration which reaches 62 miles per hour for 7.2 seconds in an open, urban road.

Mercedes 350 SL

When it comes to looks, SL 350 is superior with its elegant and sexy look with carefully curved body to blend with all angles in the front and the rear. It is more of a fashion-styled car than a racer on the street. With V6 it could go past other V6 cars but it is not really designed for that. It does not accelerate faster like SL 500. So, if you want more muscle, then go with SL 500 and not the SL 350 but if you like to stride slower along the delicate asphalt road, make SL 350 to be your companion. It is easier to maneuver than others. You can take it slow, fold the soft-top, lower the windows and let your elbow out while singing along with its stereo and that is how to use this beauty to the fullest.

Furthermore, SL 350 has the standard manual gearbox, albeit more sophisticated than before. You may have an option to make the shifting automatic by adding a little amount of cash. The manual transmission is just fine if you are fond of doing a little tickle all the time. However, to keep the spirit of an SL, take the automatic transmission.

Mercedes-Benz SL 350 just makes sense in all respect. In fact, it is the best-looking convertible you can ever have. You can show off on a sunny day, which really feels so good, and you can show off even if you are just traveling. The car itself is a show off. You can be sure you are safe when you are driving the V6 SL 350. The airbags are sophisticated using latest technology. And the seatbelts are firm yet comfortable to wear anytime. Chassis assembly is quite stronger, though a little heavier.

Now, for people who have a heavy lead foot and wants to do little tricks on the road with friends, SL 350 is good but not as good as SL 500 which reacts a really great thrust from a little tickle of a foot on the accelerator. But it is not always about speed, isn’t it?

Mercedes-Benz SL 350 is really elegant and worth every dollar you spent.
